Shelta is proud to present Heritage Teak - being made entirely from recycled timber it provides all the tradition, innovative style and charm of what is arguably the finest timber for outdoor use in the world.

Heritage Teak sources may date back hundreds of years. Having outlived its original uses (houses, bridges, wharves, beams, frames and flooring), this magnificent timber has been carefully selected, lovingly restored and meticulously fashioned into the Shelta Heritage Teak range.

Constructed from timber of such diverse heritages and uses, each piece is unique, living proof of the durability, charm and character of teak outdoor furniture. Heritage Teak features a natural non-stained or oiled finish. To retain its original honey colour, Shelta recommends regular coating with teak oil. Without this treatment (and if left outside), it will eventually age to a graceful light grey colour.
